This is a delicious and hearty meal in a bowl. Stuffed Peppers is a Spanish recipe which has been passed down for generations, and is still one of the most popular Spanish dishes you can serve.
Ingredients
1 Pound of Cooked Ground Beef or your choice of Ground Meat.
1 large Sweet Onion chopped.
(1) 3-pack of Bell Peppers cleaned and chopped into 1/2 inch pieces.
15 Ounce can of Beef Broth.
15 Ounce can of Tomato Sauce
1 Can of Rotel mild or medium heat.
1 heaping tablespoon of Italian seasoning or Fat Chef Tuscan Spice Blend.
1 Teaspoon of Kosher Salt.
1 Teaspoon of your favorite Steak Seasoning (Optional).
2 Cups of Cooked Rice (Add prior to serving) or 1 Cup of uncooked White Rice (Add 1 hour before or until rice is tender).
Fresh Chopped Parsley for serving.
Directions
Place Hamburger or your choice of Meat in a skillet with chopped Peppers and Chopped Onions.
Remove from heat and drain once meat is cooked and veggies are tender.
Transfer meat and veggies to a slow-cooker and add remainder of ingredients except the rice.
Add rice as described above depending on using cooked or uncooked rice.
Set cooker on low for 5 to 6 hours.
Once rice is tender, serve in bowls with Fresh Chopped parsley.
