A perfect Coleslaw recipe for holidays and family reunions. Creamy and slightly sweet with a crunchy texture. This recipe will be a big hit, especially for those who have enjoyed KFC style Coleslaw.
Ingredients
1/2 Head of cabbage chopped fine as pictured above
1/2 Medium carrot chopped fine
2 tablespoons of Buttermilk
2 Tablespoons of Milk
1/4 Cup of Mayonnaise
5 teaspoons of White Vinegar
1/2 Small Onion chopped fine
4 Teaspoons of Sugar
2 Teaspoons Lemon Juice
Salt & Pepper to taste
Directions
Chop cabbage, carrots, and Onion into small pieces.
Place above ingredients in a manual or electric food processor. If using electric processor, be careful not to over chop. Try to achieve the cut size depicted in the picture above.
In a small bowl, combine remainder of ingredients and mix thoroughly.
Place cabbage mixture in a larger bowl, and pour small bowl mixture over cabbage. Blend until mixture is thoroughly mixed.
Refrigerate until ready to use.
You can double or triple ingredients depending on your needs.
