St. Louis Style Pizza Dip

A delicious blend of tangy pizza sauce mixed with creamy Provel cheese. Add your favorite chopped pizza toppings to the dip and scoop up mouthfuls of creamy flavor.


Ingredients

  • (1) 8 ounce can of Tomato sauce

  • 1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder

  • 1 Teaspoon of Dried Oregano

  • 1/2 Teaspoon of Basil

  • 1/2 Teaspoon Sugar

  • 1/2 Teaspoon of Salt

  • 1/2 Teaspoon of Cracked Peppercorn

  • 1/2 Cup of Milk

  • 2 Cups or 16 Ounces of Shredded Provel Cheese (See our recipe to make your own Provel Cheese if it's not available in your area).

Directions

  1. Add all ingredients except cheese to a medium sauce pot.

  2. Bring mixture to a slow boil.

  3. Add Cheese 1/2 cup at a time until it's blended with the sauce.

  4. Once all the cheese is blended, turn off stove and allow mixture to cool.

  5. Add your favorite chopped toppings to the mixture. (Example: Italian Sausage, Pepperoni, Bacon, Onions, Mushrooms etc.)

  6. Serve warm and keep warm while using. (Mixture is freezable for future use).
