Mississippi Pot Roast

The ultimate comfort food for the ages. This delightful and tasty dish simmers in a crockpot doing all the work for you. All day simmering takes the heat out, and leaves you with all the flavor. This is a once per month treat.


Ingredients

  • 2 to 4 Pounds of your favorite cut of Beef Roast

  • 1 - 16 ounce Jar of Pepperoncini Peppers depending on roast size.

  • 1 Pack Ranch Dressing

  • 1 Pack of Au Jus Gravy Mix

  • 2 Tablespoons of Salted Butter

(For additional flavor, add 2 Large Onions peeled and quartered to crock pot)


Directions

  1. Season roast thoroughly with Fat Chef Steak Seasoning or your favorite spice rub.

  2. Turn slow cooker on low and place roast in crock pot.

  3. Pour package of Ranch and Au Jus Gravy Mix over roast.

  4. Dump entire Jar of Peppers including Juice over top of roast.

  5. Place butter on top of roast and cover. Cook for 8 hours on low.

Pro Tip: Serve over a bed of Mashed Potatoes.
