Fat Chef Steak Bites

A true party favorite. This simple recipe will have your family and friends begging for more. Prepare in an Air Fryer or on top of your stove with a Cast Iron Skillet.


Ingredients

Note: You can easily double or triple this recipe for larger servings.

  • 1 pound of your favorite steak cut (Sirloin has great flavor)

  • 1/3 cup of Canola or Coconut Oil if using an Air Fryer (Use Olive Oil if using Cast Iron Skillet).

  • Fat Chef Steak Seasoning (see our recipe) or seasoning of your choice.

  • Garlic Powder

  • Kosher salt

  • Cracked Peppercorn

Directions

  1. Trim fat from steak and cut into one inch by one inch chunks.

  2. Place sirloin chunks into a mixing bowl.

  3. Add oil to top of meat, and coat all chunks with oil.

  4. Shake seasonings over meat and toss generously.

Cooking Tips


Air Fryer - Pre-heat Air Fryer to 390 degrees. Add steak bites to Air Fryer when heated. Cook for 12 minutes tossing the bites after 6 minutes.

Stove Top - Pre-heat cast iron skillet. Add meat mixture when heated ( no lid). Toss meat every couple of minutes to ensure the meat cooks evenly. Use temp probe and cook meat to 135 degrees for medium doneness.


Dipping Sauces


Option 1: Add one part Worcestershire Sauce, one part Soy Sauce, one part Teriyaki Sauce. (some soy and teriyaki sauces contain gluten)
