Smother your favorite Steak, Chicken or Chop with this tasty wine sauce.
Ingredients
1 Stick of Salted Butter
1-1/4 Cups red wine
3 Cups beef broth
1 Tablespoon of Garlic Powder
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1 tablespoon of Fat Chef Steak seasoning or Cracked Peppercorn
1 Tablespoon Sugar
Roux (If you require gluten free, use Fat Chef Gluten Free Roux).
Directions
Melt butter in a medium saucepan.
Add the wine, beef broth, Steak seasoning or cracked peppercorn, salt, and sugar, and bring to a boil. Cook over medium heat for about 30 minutes, or until the liquid is reduced by about half.
After reduction, slowly add roux and whisk until it reaches a thicker and saucy consistency.
Feel free to add sautéed Mushrooms and/or Onions as an additional topping.
