Fat Chef House Salad

A crispy blend of Romaine and Iceberg lettuce, mixed with delicious veggie ingredients and cheeses. Served with a thick Italian white wine dressing included in the recipe.

Ingredients (Salad)

  • 1 Head of Romaine Lettuce

  • 1/2 Head of Iceberg Lettuce

  • 1 can of Chopped Artichoke Hearts

  • 1 Small Jar of chopped Red Pimentos

  • 1 Cup of Shredded Provel Cheese or Shredded Italian Cheese

  • 1/2 Red Onion thinly sliced

  • 1/2 Cup of Parmesan Cheese

Ingredients (Dressing)

  • 1/4 cup White Wine Vinegar

  • 2 tablespoons red wine Vinegar

  • 1 tablespoon of Sugar

  • 1/2 cup of Olive Oil

  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder

  • 1 Teaspoon Coarse Ground Black Pepper

  • 1 Teaspoon Coarse Kosher or Sea Salt

Directions

  1. Chop lettuce and place in a large bowl.

  2. Add remainder of ingredients to bowl including the dressing.

  3. Toss generously until thoroughly mixed

  4. Serve immediately
