The best Air Fryer Buffalo Wings you will eat. Crispy and creamy with a mild bite of spicy. The secret ingredient here is Mayonnaise. This is a crowd pleaser.
Ingredients
2 Pounds of Chicken Wing sections or Fresh Cut Wings
1 Regular bottle of Frank's MILD Wing sauce
1/2 Stick of salted Butter
1/2 Cup of Mayonnaise
1/4 Cup of Vegetable Oil
Salt and Pepper to taste
Directions
In a medium sauce pot, add Wing Sauce, Salted Butter and Mayonnaise.
Over medium heat, heat mixture until butter is melted and whisk to blend thoroughly and set aside.
Pour Vegetable Oil in a Large Ziploc and add Wings.
Coat Wings thoroughly with Oil then add Salt and Pepper over Wings. Shake and roll bag to thoroughly coat Wings in mixture.
Preheat Air Fryer to 400 degrees
Place Wings in Air Fryer basket and spread evenly making sure air can flow between wings.
Cook for 10 minutes, turning Wings at the halfway point.
Dip wings in Sauce and return to basket.
Cook Wings for another 10 Minutes turning Wings at the halfway point.
With 2 minutes remaining, dip Wings again and return to fryer to complete cooking process.
Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce or eat as is.
Pro tip: Hot sauce and Butter will ALWAYS separate (Emulsion), unless adhered with an immiscible ingredient. Mayonnaise is immiscible, and will not only will make the sauce creamier and more flavorful, but hold the Hot Sauce and Butter together.
