Easy Cubano (Cuban) Sandwich

This delightful and tasty sandwich is all about flavor. Originating in South Florida and the Keys to feed Cuban immigrants, this sandwich quickly became a national favorite as tourist snatched up the recipe.



Ingredients

  • Top and Bottom crusted Bread (Like French Bread etc.)

  • Shredded or sliced Pork Roast

  • Sliced or Shaved Ham

  • Sliced Swiss Cheese

  • Mayonnaise

  • Yellow Mustard

  • Sliced Dill Pickles

Directions

  1. Heat a Sandwich Press to 400 degrees

  2. Slice Bread roll lengthwise

  3. Partially hollow out Bottom piece creating a trench for meat filling

  4. Place Shredded Pork or Pork Slices in bottom piece of bread

  5. Cover Pork with Sliced Ham

  6. Cover ham with Swiss Cheese

  7. Cover cheese with Sliced Dill pickles

  8. Spread bottom of Top piece of Bread with Mustard and Mayonnaise

  9. Place in sandwich Press and heat until thoroughly heated throughout

  10. Remove from press and serve with your favorite Side
