Creamy Bacon & Bowtie Pasta

A creamy and cheesy pasta with crisp bacon. Makes a delicious side dish with steak or seafood, or you can eat it as a main dish.


Ingredients

  • 8 Ounces Bowtie Pasta

  • 1/2 Pound Bacon

  • 8 Ounces Cream Cheese (Room temp and softened)

  • 1/4 Cup Salted Butter (Room temp and softened)

  • 1 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning or Fat Chef Tuscan Spice Blend

  • 2/3 Cup Milk

  • 1/2 Cup Fresh Grated Parmesan Cheese

Directions

  • Cook the bacon using your preferred method until crisp and then cut into 1" pieces and set aside.

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to boil and cook the pasta until tender. Drain and add a tablespoon of Olive Oil and coat pasta. Lid pot and keep warm.

  • While pasta is cooking, add the softened cream cheese, butter, and Italian seasoning to a medium microwave-safe bowl. Beat with a hand mixer until smooth. While beating on low, slowly add milk until fully combined and mixture is smooth (Mixture should be creamy and easily pourable).

  • Microwave the cream cheese mixture for approximately 3 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds, until thoroughly heated and creamy.

  • Pour the cream cheese mixture over the pasta and toss to coat. Top with Fresh Shredded Parmesan and bacon.
