A simple fast recipe your kids will love, yet adds additional flavor only the adults can appreciate. You can freeze the leftovers for quick lunches.
Ingredients
2 Pounds of Ground Beef.
1/2 whole medium Onion chopped.
1 Large Green Pepper diced.
2 tablespoons of Minced Garlic.
1 1/2 Cups Ketchup.
2 Tablespoons of Brown Sugar.
1 Teaspoon Dry Mustard.
2 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce.
Dried Parsley
Salt to taste.
Freshly ground Black Pepper to taste.
To make this recipe "5 alarm" Spicy, add the following ingredients (Not recommended for kids).
2 Level teaspoons of Chipotle Chili Powder.
1 Heaping teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes.
1 Dash of Tabasco
Directions
Breakup Burger and place in a cook pot.
Add Onion and Green Pepper to the meat to soften, when completed, drain and set aside. Do not rinse.
Add remainder of ingredients to the pot and mix well.
Bring mixture to a proper serving temperature and garnish with dried Parsley and serve on Buns.
Pro Tip: For Gluten Free, use Gluten Free Burger buns, or serve over Buttered Gluten Free Macaroni Noodles.
