If you love chili dogs as much as we do, you will love this recipe. This simple recipe is easy to prepare and even easier to cook.
Ingredients
1 Package of your favorite Hot Dogs
1 Package of Hot Dog Buns (Cheapest you can find or even a bit stale. Buns will soften as they cook).
2 Cans of your favorite Chili Brand
1/2 Red Onion Chopped
1 Small bag of shredded Provel or Pepper Jack cheese
1 Small bag of Cheddar Cheese
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Lightly grease a 9"x13" baking pan
Place uncooked hot dogs into buns and layer the pan with hot dogs and buns.
Generously smother the dogs with chili
Sprinkle the shredded Provel or Pepper Jack over the chili
Top generously with shredded Cheddar Cheese
Sprinkle the Cheddar with the chopped onions
Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes covered. After 30 minutes, remove foil and cook another 10 minutes to crust the cheese. (Pro tip - Use tooth picks to keep foil above the cheese without touching the cheese).
