America's favorite Chicken sandwich! Make your own at home. A delicious fried chicken breast with Chick-fil-A secret sauce.
Ingredients
Chicken
1 Boneless Chicken Breast sliced in half horizontally
Egg Wash
3/4 Cup Panko Bread Crumbs
3/4 Cup all-purpose Flour
Salt & Pepper
Buns and Sliced Dill Pickles
Sauce
1/4 Cup Mayonnaise
2 Tablespoons Honey
2 Tablespoons BBQ Sauce
1 Tablespoon Yellow Mustard
2 Teaspoons Dijon Mustard
2 Teaspoons Lemon Juice
Directions
Heat Oil in Fryer or Skillet to 350 degrees
Make sure Breast filets are dry to ensure breading adheres to the meat.
In a medium bowl, mix bread crumbs and flour thoroughly
Dip filets in egg wash and place in breading until thoroughly coated and shake off excess and then repeat a second time (Double breaded).
Once breaded, place filets in Fryer and cook until breasts float, and are golden brown. If using a skillet, fry each side until golden brown and use a meat thermometer to check internal temperature (must be 165 degrees).
While chicken is frying, mix all sauce ingredients thoroughly in a small bowl and set aside.
Place cooked Filets on bun with pickles and cover with sauce.
Serve immediately.
