A simple recipe, even for the novice cook. A sweet and mildly spicy glaze on a tender filet will bring you back for more. Your family will enjoy this delightful dinner treat.
Ingredients
4 to 6 Salmon Fillets.
1/4 Cup Bourbon.
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar.
1/2 cup Soy Sauce.
1 Tablespoon Minced Garlic.
1 Teaspoon Dijon Mustard.
1/2 Teaspoon Kosher Salt.
1 Tablespoon Cracked Peppercorn.
Directions
Preheat oven to 425 F.
In a small saucepan, combine the Bourbon, Brown Sugar, Soy Sauce, Garlic, Mustard, Salt and Pepper. Bring to a boil and simmer on low for 10 minutes, or until reduced by half. Remove from heat and let sit to thicken.
Lay the salmon skin side down on a lightly oiled wire rack set over a parchment covered baking sheet (to catch the drips). If you don't have a rack, just use the baking sheet. Put a generous amount of glaze on each filet and bake for 10-15 minutes or until the Salmon reaches an internal temperature of 145 Degrees.
Arrange the fillets on each plate and drizzle each serving with the remaining glaze.
Plate and serve with Rice, Pasta, or your favorite Vegetable.
Air Fryer - Use Air Fryer instead of oven. Heat Air Fryer to 400 degrees and cook filets single layer for 8 minutes or until they reach and internal temperature of 145 Degrees. Repeat as needed depending on the capacity of your Fryer. Serve as you would oven cooked.
