Air Fryer Cabbage Steaks

A perfect side dish or meal. This simple dish takes no time to prepare and cook. Serve over a bed of fried potatoes and you have a fulfilling meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 Head of Cabbage

  • Canola Oil Spray

  • 1 Tablespoon Old Bay Seasoning

  • 3 Tablespoons of Grated Parmesan Cheese (freshly grated is better)

  • 1 Tablespoon of Onion Powder

  • 1 Teaspoon of Dried Parsley

  • 1 Teaspoon of Smoked Paprika

  • 1 Teaspoon of Garlic Powder

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, add Cheese, Old Bay, Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, Parsley, and Paprika and mix thoroughly.

  2. Cut Cabbage into 1 inch steak slices and spread slices onto a cutting board.

  3. Cover bottom of Air Fryer pan with water for cooking moisture.

  4. Preheat Air Fryer to 360 degrees.

  5. While fryer is heating, spray cabbage slices on both sides with cooking spray and generously sprinkle seasoning mixture on both sides of Cabbage slices and respray slices.

  6. Cook Cabbage Steaks for 8 minutes (Add minutes depending on how crispy you want them).

  7. Repeat until all slices are completed. keep slices separated to allow adequate air flow for crispiness.

  8. Serve as a side dish or meal with fresh grated Parmesan Cheese.
